Combined authority appoints first chief executive

James Farrar has been appointed as the first chief executive of York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.

James Farrar has been appointed as the first chief executive of York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.

He is currently the authority's interim head of paid service and director of economy, and previously held the role of chief operating officer at York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
