No time like the present to commit to buses

The importance of buses in levelling up cannot be overstated, but political ambition supported by tough funding decisions will required to realise their potential, says Andrew Carter.

As the most used form of public transport across Britain, the importance of buses for realising the levelling up agenda cannot be overstated.

This is why buses featured prominently in the latest White Paper and why the recent court ruling to allow Greater Manchester to ‘take back control' of its bus system is such good news.
