COSLA condemns Holyrood budget offer

Scottish leaders have branded the package of measures put forward by Holyrood as ‘totally unacceptable’ and an 'affront to local democracy’.

Scottish leaders have branded the package of measures put forward by Holyrood as ‘totally unacceptable' and an 'affront to local democracy'.

Scottish authorities will have 3.5% slashed from their budget, which the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) has urged councils to reject.
