The leader of Cheshire East Council, Michael Jones, has resigned form his post.

The leader of Cheshire East Council, Michael Jones, has resigned form his post.

Cllr Jones has been under growing pressure to step down after allegations he ‘misled' councillors over contracts awarded to his personal physiotherapist's firm.
