Council saves £1m using special investigators

The work of specialist Aberdeen City Council investigators has prevented the local authority from losing more than £1m.

The work of specialist Aberdeen City Council investigators has prevented the local authority from losing more than £1m.

Proactive probes allowed the council to cancel almost 1,000 council tax discounts, meaning a saving of £1.3m.
