Children’s services at Kirklees MBC have been slammed as inadequate due to ‘serious and widespread failures’ by senior management.

Children's services at Kirklees MBC have been slammed as inadequate due to ‘serious and widespread failures' by senior management.

Ofsted said senior managers, councillors and chief executive Adrian Lythgo had identified issues last summer but had failed to adequately improve the situation.
