Local authorities could get a say over the number of unaccompanied asylum seeking children taken in by the UK after a House of Lords vote.

After a string of Lords victories on the Housing and Planning Bill, a cross-party coalition of peers yesterday dealt a blow to the Government's Immigration Bill.
