Local authorities are preparing for public events to resume with powers to impose restrictions or issue bans on public health grounds.

From Monday, COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on outdoor events where arrivals of people will be staggered - such as village fetes, car boot sales, and food and drink festivals - or events with a ‘drive-in' audience.
