Two councils have launched an appeal to the highest court in the land to prevent developers ‘riding roughshod’ over their development policies.

Two councils have launched an appeal to the highest court in the land to prevent developers ‘riding roughshod' over their development policies.

Cheshire East Council and Suffolk Coastal DC have been granted leave to appeal to the Supreme Court to maintain the significance of local plans.
