Councils face negative credit rating after Brexit

Four councils have had their credit rating outlooks downgraded from stable to negative in the wake of the UK’s referendum vote to leave the EU.

Ratings agency Moody's made the announcement about Cornwall Council, Guildford and Warrington BCs, and Lancashire CC after stripping Britain of its top credit grade.
