Stripping councils of the right to boycott trade with organisations or countries on ethical grounds is ‘fundamentally wrong', a senior MP has said. 

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has announced plans to crack down on local authorities that divest from trading with certain nations or companies.
