Cumbria chief announces retirement

Cumbria CC’s chief executive Diane Wood has announced she will retire next year.

Cumbria CC's chief executive Diane Wood has announced she will retire next year.

Ms Wood will step down in February after 35 years in local government – the last eight of which have been in Cumbria.
