Devolution to Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire could help tackle the ‘acute housing crisis' in the region, it has been suggested.

The comment comes as councils across the region enter final negotiations with Whitehall over the D2N2 combined authority deal, which is expected to include more powers to support housebuilding.
