Poor school performance is not always connected with poverty says Harry Phibbs.

The Centre Forum think tank has now published its league table on how children from low income households perform at GCSEs. This is important research as it removes the excuse often cited by failing schools, or councils with generally bad results from their schools, that deprivation is the explanation.
