Local Government Association Labour group leader Jim McMahon has insisted devolution is a core value of his party.

Speaking at the Labour conference on the day Jeremy Corbyn made his first speech to the event as leader, Cllr McMahon claimed the Conservatives had been trying to pass devolution off as their own principle.
