Districts 'doing the do' on health

District councils have been tackling health issues, while the Government has had to pause on health reforms, says Nina Dawes.

While the Government was forced to pause on health reforms, district councils have been busy getting on with the practical work of tackling health issues.

Take the example of Kettering. Over the past 12 months, a total of 30,000 people have taken part in the borough council's initiative, including more than 1,600 young people.
