DLUHC accused of 'rogue' spending

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has admitted the Treasury has reined in its spending.

Local government minister Lee Rowley said: ‘We are working within a new delegation approach with the Treasury which involves sign-off with the Treasury on capital spend.
