Essex CC has announced Nicole Wood will become the council's next chief executive.

Essex CC has announced Nicole Wood will become the council's next chief executive.

Wood is currently Essex's executive director for corporate services and section 151 officer, president of the Society of County Treasurers, a Local Government Association peer reviewer and columnist for The MJ.
