A chief executive has accused health and social care transformation tsars of trying to subject the local government sector to a ‘plague' of performance indicators.

Secretary of the Association of County Chief Executives, Jim Graham, who is also Warwickshire CC boss, criticised the centrally imposed detailed guidance for the operation of the Better Care Fund (BCF) in 2015-16.
