Councils need extra funding to carry out new responsibilities for the coronavirus test and trace system, the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) has said.

The Government has said staff will be provided to local authorities as it announced they would be responsible for reaching COVID-19 patients and contacts where the national service had failed to do so.
