Fears over growing data regulation

Finance chiefs warn public sector will suffer due to misuse of data by private firms.

Fears of increasing regulation over the use of data have been voiced by public sector finance experts.

Speakers at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy's (CIPFA) virtual conference today highlighted the benefits to be gained from the collection and analysis of data.
