Ms Ogley president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) said 'Brexit, a change of Prime Minister and now a General Election on the horizon' meant plans for adult social care reform 'are very much still stuck in the long-grass'.
Speaking at the National Children and Adult Services conference in Bournemouth today, she said this was 'a burning injustice that this has not been addressed by successive governments'.
