MPs call for councils to be funded ‘in full' for added responsibilities after Bob Blackman's Homelessness Reduction Bill passed through the House of Commons unopposed.

The Bill, which passed its first hurdle on Friday, would double the length of time a person is deemed to be under threat of homelessness and require councils to offer support in finding accommodation for a further 56 days.
