A few weeks back I attended a fascinating Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy summit on the Social Value Act and the important role it has to play in transforming service delivery.
Bringing together experts from across the decision-making field, from commissioners, procurers, private and voluntary sector agencies and, of course, finance professionals, it was interesting to hear how organisations are working with the social value legislation as a tool to transform how services really work for the benefit of users.
