The Government has greenlighted Exceptional Financial Support (EFS) worth £72m for Plymouth City Council following a review of its finances.

The Government has green lighted Exceptional Financial Support (EFS) worth £72m for Plymouth City Council following a review of its finances.

Plymouth had used borrowing in 2019-20 to invest in an independent company, which paid off the council's pension deficit.
