The Government stands ready to ‘do whatever is necessary’ to support councils in their response to coronavirus, local government minister Luke Hall has said.

The Government stands ready to ‘do whatever is necessary' to support councils in their response to coronavirus, local government minister Luke Hall has said.

Speaking in the House of Commons yesterday, Mr Hall said: ‘We know that councils are under considerable financial pressure in responding to this crisis.
