Government's waste reform timetable is rubbish

The Government's proposed timetable for waste reform is every bit as rubbish as I had feared, writes chairman of the District Councils’ Network, Sam Chapman-Allen.

The Government has finally confirmed its proposed timetable for waste reform – and it's every bit as rubbish as I had feared.

The reforms do not reflect the fact it is councils who know our communities best and are best placed to deliver the waste service our residents want.
