Having just spent time at the CIPFA conference for Grim Reapers listening to the soldiers of doom spin their grotesque yarns using hilariously downwardly-mobile graphics, I think it is about time we started seeing some upwardly-trending graph lines being positive about the environment we find ourselves in. Terribly British I know but necessary, I think!!

So, today, this particular Grim Reaper wants to concentrate on the need to have really good people working for the organisation who are motivated and skilled rather than concentrating on how to reduce spending so that there is nothing left to spend on anything but social care.
