Hampshire chief to take over Torbay's failing children's services

The Government has assigned Hampshire CC’s chief executive to intervene in Torbay Council’s failing children’s services.

The Government has assigned Hampshire CC's chief executive to intervene in Torbay Council's failing children's services.

John Coughlan will step in as children's commissioner following a damning Ofsted report, which labelled the service's leadership, management and governance inadequate.
