Partners in Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are at risk of retreating into a ‘fortress mentality’ in order to survive, the Health Devolution Commission has warned.

Partners in Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are at risk of retreating into a ‘fortress mentality' in order to survive, the Health Devolution Commission has warned.

In its annual report launched in Westminster this week, the commission detailed eight key design principles for effective ICSs, including ‘genuine equality between the NHS and local government services at every level in the new structures'.
