Isle of Wight aims for 'continuity and stability' with interim chief appointment

Wendy Perera will take up the role from current chief executive John Metcalfe.

Isle of Wight Council is to appoint an interim chief executive.

Subject to a vote by councillors, Wendy Perera will take up the role from current chief executive John Metcalfe, who is due to leave at the end of March after nearly 25 years with the authority.
