Communities secretary Sajid Javid has admitted he does not know what impact the Government's controversial Right to Buy policy will have on council finances.

In his first appearance before the Communities a Local Government Committee, Mr Javid said: 'We are still developing the detail of these policies and so it is not possible to provide more financial detail until we have finalised that.
