Jenrick in anti-semitism funding threat

The Local Government Association (LGA) has rebuffed communities secretary Robert Jenrick’s threat to withhold funding from councils that fail to adopt the internationally-agreed definition of anti-semitism.

The Local Government Association (LGA) has rebuffed communities secretary Robert Jenrick's threat to withhold funding from councils that fail to adopt the internationally-agreed definition of anti-semitism.

As revealed by The MJ last week, Mr Jenrick's private office has emailed council leaders who have failed to confirm their authority has adopted the definition developed by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
