Councillors at Kent CC have vowed to claw back a £6.1m shortfall from the Government to care for asylum-seeking children.

Councillors at Kent CC have vowed to claw back a £6.1m shortfall from the Government to care for asylum-seeking children.

However, there is no sign of the council returning to the national transfer scheme for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
