Kirklees favours bringing thousands of council properties back in-house

Kirklees MBC is favouring the option of returning thousands of council homes to the management of the local authority.

Kirklees MBC is favouring the option of returning thousands of council properties to the management of the local authority.

Plans being considered by the council could mean the end of Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH), an arms-length management organisation (ALMO), that has run more than 21,000 properties since 2002.
