Labour beat election expectations but concerns remain

The Labour party did better than predicted in England, but suffered major setbacks in Scotland and Wales.

The Labour party did better than predicted in England, but suffered major setbacks in Scotland and Wales. 

Early polling suggested Jeremy Corbyn's party was on course to lose more than 170 seats and control over several authorities.
