An unhappy Haringey LBC councillor has broken ranks from his colleagues in the ruling Labour group to oppose a proposed increase in allowances.

A meeting of Haringey LBC's special standards committee last week voted in favour of a series of increases, including a 6.6% rise in the special allowance for leader Cllr Claire Kober.
