Councils brought in to save failing children’s services face falling into the same patterns as those they are trying to help, a children’s chief has warned.

Councils brought in to save failing children's services face falling into the same patterns as those they are trying to help, a children's chief has warned.

Prime minister David Cameron last year announced that children's services that failed to improve just six months on from an ‘inadequate' Ofsted inspection would be taken over by other authorities, charities and experts.
