Leicestershire pledges to work with stakeholders on reorganisation

Leicestershire CC has confirmed it will press on with drawing up more detailed plans for reorganisation after the council's request to have its spring election postponed was rejected.

 All 21 two-tier areas are still required to put in initial reorganisation bids to the Government by the end of March, deputy prime minister Angela Rayner confirmed today.
