LGA bid to fund support initiative

The Local Government Association’s (LGA) improvement body has made an £80m bid over four years to ensure its sector-led support initiative remains funded.

The Local Government Association's (LGA) improvement body has made an £80m bid over four years to ensure its sector-led support initiative remains funded.

From 2016/17 the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) will be financed through government grant rather than a top-slice from Revenue Support Grant.
