LGA decries youth offending budget cut

Government funding to prevent young people entering a life of crime has reduced, sparking disappointment from the Local Government Association (LGA).

Government funding to prevent young people entering a life of crime has reduced, sparking disappointment from the Local Government Association (LGA).

Budgets for youth offending announced today showed councils will receive £70.7m – down from the £71.5m they received last year.
