The number of households forced into temporary accommodation has soared by more than a third in the past six years, official figures have revealed.

The number of households forced into temporary accommodation has soared by more than a third in the past six years, official figures have revealed.

Statistics published by the Department for Communities and Local Government revealed a drastic 39% increase since 2010.
