Manchester City Council is a ‘first-rate’ local authority, a peer review team has concluded.

Manchester City Council is a ‘first-rate' local authority, a peer review team has concluded.

The team, whose visit at the end of November coincided with the first week in office of leader Cllr Bev Craig, praised the outgoing leader Richard Leese, who held the post for 25 years.
