Greater Manchester has vowed to ‘hold the Government to account’ over the number of asylum seekers the region accommodates.

Greater Manchester has vowed to ‘hold the Government to account' over the number of asylum seekers the region accommodates.

Serco has retained responsibility for housing people seeking asylum in the north-west following the Home Office's awarding of contracts for the service from 2020.
