A Mansfield DC quantity surveyor is tacking the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the sector by making the kit at home.

Dan Clover, who works in the council's design services team, has his own 3D printer and has begun to make plastic visors and door openers for frontline workers such as care home staff and council housing officers.Some of the equipment has already been delivered to a local hospital.
