Calls for the introduction of a recall system for elected mayors have been made in the wake of the latest elections.

Calls for the introduction of a recall system for elected mayors have been made in the wake of the latest elections.

Six mayors were either elected or re-elected last week, days after election commissioner, Judge Richard Mawrey, deposed Tower Hamlets' Lutfur Rahman for a breach of rules.
