Mayors in the north of England are demanding the Government goes ‘further and faster' with devolution.

While speaking warmly of deputy prime minister and proud northerner Angela Rayner's speech at the Convention of the North, the region's mayors were not letting party loyalty get in the way of their demands of central government.
