Communities minister Baroness Williams has insisted local authority pension fund decision-making remains a democratic process despite Whitehall stamping out politically-motivated procurement boycotts.

Communities minister Baroness Williams has insisted local authority pension fund decision-making remains a democratic process despite Whitehall stamping out politically-motivated procurement boycotts.

The Lords spokeswoman was quick to point out the difference between procurement and pension investments, saying guidance would be released on the latter in due course.
