The NHS is actively keeping local government ‘away from the table’ as it presses ahead with sustainability and transformation partnerships (STP), senior councillors have claimed.

The NHS is actively keeping local government ‘away from the table' as it presses ahead with sustainability and transformation partnerships (STP), senior councillors have claimed.

NHS England has asked health and care systems to develop blueprints to ensure future sustainability, but members of the Local Government Association (LGA) executive last week criticised the health service for ‘hijacking' the plans.
