The Norfolk CC chief executive has welcomed the Government’s intervention in its failing children’s services but criticised Whitehall for a lack of communication.

The Norfolk CC chief executive has welcomed the Government's intervention in its failing children's services but criticised Whitehall for a lack of communication.

On Monday, David Cameron announced that authorities with children's services rated ‘inadequate' by Ofsted would be ‘taken over' if they failed to improve within six months.
